BOSTON–The 2019 CCIM New England president, Karen Hurd, is spreading the word about the CCIM designation and has set goals of growing its membership and increasing benefits to existing members as her main objectives during her tenure.
Hurd said her CCIM ( Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, and being an active member in the organization has helped her develop both her business and her career. She said it even played a part in her getting her new position, Managing Director, National Business Development Real Estate and Construction Services at BakerTilly.

Karen Hurd, CCIM and Senior Vice President of SVN International Corp. in Boston will serve as the 2019 President of the New England CCIM Chapter starting on Jan.1, 2019. Hurd has been actively involved with the CCIM Institute on a national and local level for the past 8 years and earned her pin in March 2018. She uses her 25 years of industry experience to help build and protect enterprise value of a long list of entrusted clients.
